We are now into September and we are kicking it off with a theme challenge. Since it's my birthday this week I chose candles as my theme - you can't have a birthday cake without candles, right? Your cards don't have to be restricted to birthday ones though: seasonal candles, menorah or Christmas candles are fine - any kind of candle will do!

PP800 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday, Stampers! Ann here with our winners. This challenge was a very special one for The Paper Players, as it marked our 800^th challenge. Who can resist a purple dragon hugging a unicorn? Silke's beautifully colored dragon and unicorn, paired with the perfect sentiment, melted my heart. The arched embossed panel adds rich texture, as does the ribbon and bow. The various shades of purple are lovely together. Congratulations on being my Headliner, Silke!

PP800!!! - A Sketch Challenge from Ann

Hi, stamping friends! It's Ann! I have the pleasure of hosting a very special challenge this week. Before I get to the details, however, we would like to thank everyone who played in Claire's Clean and Simple Fall challenge. Your Fall cards put us in the mood for autumn hues, changing leaves, cool temps, and everything pumpkin.

Hello, everyone!  Claire  here with our newest challenge! Thank you so much to everyone who played along with Stef's color challenge last week!  It's always fun to see what you create!   This week our challenge is Clean and Simple  with a Fall theme! There are endless ideas for this theme.  I really don't know anyone who doesn't love Fall. So, HAVE FUN!

Remember to keep everything to a minimum!  At The Paper Players, we take Clean and Simple to mean a design that is uncluttered with lots of white space and few embellishments or layers. Here we go:
